Ciao bella! This quick, easy sandwich will have you blurting out Italian phrases like buon appetito with the first warm bite!
Start with 2 slices of gluten free bread. Butter one side of each slice and generously sprinkle on garlic powder on both (I use ghee – dairy/casein free and crisps better). Place 6 slices of hard salami on the buttered side. Then layer a soft cheese of your choice (e.x. mozzarella, Colby jack, etc.). On top of the cheese, place a layer of pepperoni (I used turkey pepperoni). Top with the other slice of bread (butter-side down). Butter the outside of the sandwich and grill until golden and cheese is melted.
