Travelling GF, Day 2

Last night, I had the experience of going to bed hungry. It was mostly because I didn’t have access to my snacks and it was really late ~ around 2am. It made me think of those children who go to bed hungry on a daily basis. And then I thanked God for our bountiful harvest.

Day two of travelling has been fun. This morning we ate Udi’s bagels and cream cheese. After breakfast, we went to Whole Foods.  It was amazing! For Iowans, it is like New Pioneer Co-op or Campbells, but much larger.  Once there, we picked up some carob raisins,  chocolate covered espresso beans, and cashew butter.

For dinner, we ate at Boston Market. If you ask, they have an allergy menu behind the counter. It tells you what allergens are in their products. I had the 3 piece broiled chicken, mashed potatoes, and sweet corn. Yummy!

I pray the rest of this trip goes as well as today did.
